On 26 March 2025, the second international meeting of the European project Zero Plastic 4 All took place in Bari, Italy, under the Erasmus+ KA210 Vocational Education and Training (VET) programme. The project, which focuses on combating plastic pollution through education and innovation, aims to empower students and educators in developing and implementing sustainable practices in the context of vocational education and training.

The meeting was hosted by the educational institution Formedil Bari, and was a meeting point for educators and professionals in the sector, with the presence of the President Mr. Salvatore Matarrese, the Vice President Mr. Luigi Sideri, and the Director Mr. Silvano Penna.

One of the most important points of the event was the presentation of the first pilot application of the ZP4All platform, which was carried out by the RTIS Network executives. This platform was developed to provide students and educators with digital tools and educational materials that promote sustainable plastic waste management and raise awareness of the circular economy. The platform was presented in front of two high school classes of the PES in Bari, who had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the functioning and the possibilities of the tool.

This presentation was a unique opportunity for the students of the EPFL in Bari to interact with technology and digital solutions that promote environmental responsibility and to understand the importance of the circular economy in their education and career path.

The Zero Plastic 4 All project continues to have a positive impact on vocational education, fostering environmental awareness and creating a new generation of professionals who recognise the importance of sustainability and responsible resource management.

The 2nd international meeting was an important step in strengthening the cooperation between the participating stakeholders in order to create a network to promote sustainability and environmental education across Europe.
